Juan Pablo Contesse

Juan is a native of Chile and started his career after graduating from the University of Chile in Business Administration, with a Major in Marketing. He was the Founder of the Alumni Association.

After five years working for Leo Burnett Chile he was promoted to work at Leo Burnett’s headquarters in Chicago as Vice President, Director of Hispanic Marketing and Advertising. By then Leo Burnett USA was the largest and most creative Advertising Agency in the US, and one of the largest worldwide. Here, he led a multidisciplinary team that through visionary and innovative strategies built several brands of Procter and Gamble, McDonald’s, General Motors, Philip Morris, Kellogg’s, United Airlines, and others.

He and his family went back to Chile for five years where he held senior executive positions at Leo Burnett Chile and Young and Rubicam.

In 1999 he came back to the US as President of Contacto/Leo Burnett in Miami.

After all these years advising clients, in 2016 he decided to start his own business as Management Consultant working with business owners recommending unconventional strategies to grow their businesses and make them more profitable.

In 2016, he joined Colonial Life Insurance as an Agency Development Manager advising Business Owners, HR Managers, Brokers and Employees to ensure them and their families the best financial protection if something unexpected happens.

Now he joins Benefits Trust as an Executive Vice President.

Juan is family-centric and loves music, sports, and his wife’s delicious recipes.
